My journey as an audio engineer can be traced back to my teenage years,
when I found a particular interest for electronic music.
Around that time I decided to enrol in the only course I could find
in Mexico City (circa 2002).
Not so long after, this decision would led a close friend of mine
to extend an invitation to frequent his older brother's home recording studio,
where he had a small recording room and an even smaller control room built
around a Pro Tools system.
A year or so later, the opportunity to grow arise, and I was lucky enough
to be offered the possibility to become a partner. The studio moved int o
an entire building where I participated in the construction of the main recording
room.
There I learned to measure the acoustics, to build and install the necessary
acoustic treatment, to solder cables and everything related to signal routing and power requirements.
After a year or so, I decided I wanted to dive deeper into the engineering side,
so in 2008 I came to Madrid and enrolled in the Audio Engineering Diploma
At SAE Institute.
It was love at first sight, so strong that I left everything behind in Mexico and decided to stay.
Ever since I've been recording, mixing and mastering on my own.
